Situation in Anbar province appears to have been turned around

The traitors among us cannot be happy about this report in the Chicago Tribune:

By all accounts, the results in Anbar have been impressive: Where barely 200 police officers had served in Ramadi, the provincial capital, last summer, now there are more than 8,000. The number of attacks on U.S. forces dropped from 108 a week last year to seven during the first week of May.

They were jumping with joy late last year about the leaked intelligence assessment done in August 2006 and supposedly updated in October or November:

The U.S. military is no longer able to defeat a bloody insurgency in western Iraq or counter al-Qaeda's rising popularity there, according to newly disclosed details from a classified Marine Corps intelligence report that set off debate in recent months about the military's mission in Anbar province.

The Marines recently filed an updated version of that assessment that stood by its conclusions and stated that, as of mid-November, the problems in troubled Anbar province have not improved, a senior U.S. intelligence official said yesterday. "The fundamental questions of lack of control, growth of the insurgency and criminality" remain the same, the official said.

By making it seem certain that the U.S.A. would withdraw soon, the traitors among us encouraged the continuation of killing in Anbar province.

Now that things appear to have been turned around in Anbar province, naturally the traitors among us will treat that province as unimportant and the recent developments as meaningless -- as they search for something else to put in their "news" reports.

Anbar province was only "newsworthy" when the traitors among us could publish discouraging accounts of how we had lost all and must withdraw.

What will Reid, Pelosi, Dean, Murtha, etc., do now? What will they now feed their propaganda machine in their struggle for America's defeat?

How many more Americans will die because the traitors among us encourage our enemies?
